I fear Armin has indefinitely modified his mixing technique to make transitions more blended/longer. That's why I had to leave a lot of tails and push timecodes once again. If you're not sure what I mean, basically Armin uses a major element of a previous track (i.e. often a main synth) while he already has the next track playing apart from that element. Problem is, the synth from the previous track is so noticable, that I have to push the timecode to clearly start the next track properly. Luckily, it doesn't happen all the time and sometimes it's a judgement call, but it's a pain in the ass anyway. In this specific .CUE, a very good example of what I'm talking about is the transition from #16 to #17. I deliberated that one for a long time and in the end, I actually let the Nowadays synth stay in the next track for a little bit because there was such a dramatic difference audible at that point anyway. In previous episodes (listen to the end of Nowadays in 327 and 329), Armin cut completely to the next track, but now-a-days (hehe), he keeps some part of the previous track around. Some people might even enjoy this style more (and it really urges folks to buy tracks if they want the clean original too). Regardless, I just wanted to write one last time about it. In the future, I won't comment on this change in transitions.

Enjoy!
